d2p VCI masterbatches are a cutting-edge range of products designed to safeguard surfaces by preventing corrosion and metal oxidation in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Comprehensive Protection:   Metal parts have the potential to corrode at any stage during manufacture, storage or transport.

Innovative Action:  VCI reaches the metal surface and condenses into a form a thin film of crystals. In the presence of even traces of moisture, crystals dissolve and immediately develop strong ionic activity.

Advanced Migration:  The corrosion-inhibiting compound migrates from the VCI packaging (paper, polybag, foam emitter) into the packaging environment, while a think layer of protection adheres to metal surfaces, reaching into recessed areas, holes, nooks and crannies.

Versatility:  Symphony offers VCI plastic Masterbatches for the packaging of items prone to corrosion, rusting and oxidation for rigid and flexible plastic packaging materials.

Wide Applicability:  Extremely effective for all iron-based commercial finished or intermediary products: Steel, Cast Iron. Metal plate, Zinc, Copper, Copper Alloys, Soldered joints, Aluminium and Aluminium alloys.

Safe Processing:  Does not release smoke, fumes, vapour or gases during processing

High Performance

Great Performance of d2p® VCI was achieved in the lnstitut Fur Korrosionsschutz Dresden using the K-test as per VW50164 with 2% addition rate.

The same high performance was also achieved in tests carried out by Intertek.
