Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM:SYM), global specialists in ‘making plastic smarter’ are pleased to announce the successful completion of another K-Show, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Symphony took the opportunity to present exciting new technologies and products in the fields of antimicrobial, insecticidal, anti-rodent, odour adsorbers and flame retardants,as well as its well-established d2w Controlled-life plastic technology.
Symphony also introduced compostable plastic products, which comply with European Standard EN13432 and American Standard ASTM D6400 and French Standard NF T 51-800.
Attendance at this, the world’s largest plastics exhibition, rose this year with indications that visitor numbers would exceed 200,000. During the eight-day show Symphony were delighted to welcome over 600 visitors to their stand from more than 30 countries and to take orders from existing and new customers.
Symphony have invested millions of dollars in research and development over the past ten years to ensure that its products are at the leading edge of technology and commercially competitive.
It is encouraging that this is now understood around the world, as shown by the interest in Symphony at the K-Show by a wide variety of companies including multi-billion dollar, global corporations.
CEO Michael Laurier said ‘this is the fourth time that Symphony have exhibited at the K show, which gets bigger and better each time. This year’s show has been extremely positive for Symphony and we were able to interact with a wide range of companies from a variety of business sectors. We are pleased to be leaving Dusseldorf with more than 20 exciting new commercial trials and development projects which we cannot wait to get started on.”
